Within our commitment to society, we have established different protocols for contributing to caring for the Environment. Among these are not only controlling emissions, but also different measures which seek to guarantee the lowest environmental impact in undertaking our activity, establishing rules for using resources, recycling and energy efficiency, etc.
Within its strategic plan for the coming years, TIPSA has a priority objective of increasing sustainable and environmental initiatives. Within the Management Committee, a Quality and Environment Committee has been created to promote and incentivise operations which promote sustainability in transport and in the general activity of the company.
Our commitment goes beyond undertaking services which satisfy our clients, also being a responsible company in initiatives against Climate Change and for Corporate Social Responsibility.
At a global level, the main lines established for the 2021-2025 financial years are:
Ongoing study on the impact of the carbon footprint of the TIPSA Network.
Objective of reducing CO2 emissions by at least 10%.
Doubling, at the minimum, the number and percentage of packages delivered with ECO vehicles.
All plastic, paper, cardboard and waste from our Central HUB is 100% recycled.
Since August 2020, all our envelopes are made of at least 90% recycled material, which has allowed us to obtain the prestigious BLUE ANGEL international certification.
We are developing a Documentation Digitisation Project, with the objective of:
- Improving and streamlining processes.
- Reducing paper consumption by 75%.
- Reducing toner consumption by 40%.
This process will allow greater awareness among our personnel of the zero paper policy and will improve the management processes of the company.
Electrification of the fleet
Within the 2021-2025 Strategic Plan, we will replace part of our fleet of diesel vans with electric vehicles, thereby achieving a significant reduction of our carbon footprint.
